Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

In Sprint Layout 6, How do I import macros that I download or get from other sources.
And.., does anyone have a macro for an MSOP-8 or can you tell me how to find them in the Macro list in SL6.
I should be receiving some HV7802MG-G High side current monitors soon and I want to incorporate them into a project I have started in SL6
Any help will be appreciated.
Cheers

I've worked it out.
Just drop them into C:/users/public/public documents/Layout60/Makros.

You beat me to it!
Exactly as you say.

Some footprints you just have to design yourself, and then save them as a makro - then you can use them later.  I did quite a few of my own ones. If you want me to upload them as a ZIP file, let me know.  It includes an MSOP-8 footprint.

Thanks Graeme. I would appreciate your Makros.
I already have some from way back but I suspect someone as industrious as yourself would have created a lot more by now.
I have just finished designing my first (test) board and was about to order from JLPCB when I decided to add more functionality (stuff, junk whatever) . This will require me to turn it into a double sided board - just to add to the learning curve.
Cheers

Here you go:

MACROS(Graeme's).zip

Create another folder under MAKROS, and extract all the LMK files into it.
MSOP-8 footprint is included.
